女木島・男木島

高松市沖に2つならぶ女木（めぎ）島・男木（おぎ）島は高松港からフェリーで行ける身近な島。瀬戸内国際芸術祭の現代アートを鑑賞したり、斜面に鱗状に連なる集落や路地を散策したりと島ならではののんびりした雰囲気が楽しめます。

五色台

五色台はその名のとおり、紅峰･黄ノ峰･黒峰･青峰･白峰山の5つの峰からなる溶岩台地です。南北に五色台スカイラインが通り、瀬戸内海と島々の風景を眺めながらドライブを楽しむことができます。

鬼無・国分寺

鬼無･国分寺は国内最大の松盆栽の生産地です。「高松盆栽の郷」として知られ、国内外から多くの盆栽愛好家が訪れています。盆栽園や畑は住宅地とともにあり、この地の暮らしに根づいています。園の見学や盆栽体験も楽しめます。

仏生山・一宮

仏生山は高松藩主をまつる菩提寺・法然寺の門前町として江戸時代に栄えました。町内に伸びる「御成街道」には当時の家屋が残り、リノベーションしたカフェや雑貨店が点在しています。伝統ある町にモダンな雰囲気がとけあう隠れ家的なエリアです。
一宮には四国八十八ヶ所札所の一宮寺など地元住民に愛される寺社仏閣があります。仏生山と同じくことでん琴平線沿線エリアです。

屋島・庵治・牟礼

屋島は四国霊場の屋島寺や古代の城跡、源平合戦古戦場など歴史ロマンをかき立てる史跡がみどころ。山上からの夕景は絶景です。庵治・牟礼にまたがる五剣山は日本有数の石材産地。ここで採石される庵治石は、花崗岩のダイヤと呼ばれ高く評価されています。また、庵治では、映画「世界の中心で、愛をさけぶ」のロケ地巡りも楽しめます。

塩江

高松市の南端にある塩江は「高松の奥座敷」と称される温泉郷。その昔、名僧行基によって発見され、弘法大師空海が湯治の地として伝えたとされています。春は桜、夏はホタル、秋は紅葉と、山あいの豊かな自然に心身ともに癒されます。

Ritsurin Garden, Special Place of Scenic Beauty

Ritsurin Garden is a stroll garden of the daimyo style, the largest of its kind among Japan's Cultural Property Gardens designated as Special Places of Scenic Beauty.
The garden was created by generations of the Lords of Takamatsu Matsudaira and the ponds and miniature hills are so beautifully and artfully laid out that each step reveals a new view.

Yashima Mountain Top

Yashima, a roof-shaped lava plateau, is also famous as a battlefield of the Genpei Battle. The view of Takamatsu City and the calm Seto Inland Sea dotted with beautiful small islands from the top of this mountain is a must-see. There are many more sights to see, Such as Yashimaji Temple, which is the 84th temple of the Shikoku 88 Temple Pilgrimage, the New Yashima Aquarium, which is a rare sight in the world because it is constructed on top of a mountain.

Takamatsu Symbol Tower

A 151.3-meter high tower in Sunport Takamatsu is the tallest tower in Shikoku. Visitors can shop, eat and drink. There are many local souvenirs available. The rooftop garden on the hall's eighth floor and the observatory on the tower's 29th floor provide stunning views of the Seto Inland Sea.

Michi-no-Eki Shionoe Roadside Station

The Michi-no-Eki is a conveniently located tourist information center in the Shionoe hot spring village. The adjoining Kanko Bussan Center Shionoe sells the local specialties of Shionoe-cho and popular soft serve ice cream. The Koto river runs right beside the Michi-no-Eki building, attracting many people who play in the river in summer.

Shikoku 88 Temple Pilgrimage 82nd Sacred Spot, Negoroji Temple

The main hall enshrines the principal image of Senju Kannon (the thousand-armed Buddhist Goddess of Mercy), and the Mantai Kannon (many statues of the Buddhist Goddess of Mercy). Near the temple gate in the bushes is a frightening statue of Ushioni, the legendary cow demon. The center is also popular as a beautiful place to view autumn leaves.
