Tamamo Park, Historic Site of Takamatsu Castle
The Historic Site of Takamatsu Castle, one of Japan’s three major water castles, was included in this park. The Seto Inland Sea's waters run through the moats where seabream swim. The park offers so much to see, including beautiful Japanese-style gardens and government-designated Important Cultural Properties such as the castle's turrets and the Hiunkaku.

From April 2026 Adults and children 18 and up: 300 yen * Free for children under 18 years old * People 65 and older who live in Takamatsu City can enter free of charge with proof of age and residency. * Free for those with a physical disability certificate, rehabilitation certificate, or mental disability certificate by presentation of their certificates (and caregivers are also admitted free of charge if they need assistance.) * Groups (20 or more) are 240 yen for adults and free for children under 18 years old ・ There is a mutual discount system with Ritsurin Garden, Kagawa Museum, and Takamatsu Art Museum. ・ Present the "Udon-ken Omotenashi Passport" (Udon Prefecture Hospitality Passport) for a discount. |
