Takamatsu Historical Museum

Visitors can familiarize themselves with the city of Takamatsu and its local history at the history museum. The museum exhibits Important Cultural Properties including the Koshinhorui (sacred treasures) of Tamura Shrine and a model of the Hiryumaru, a gozabune ship of the Takamatsu Domain that was reserved for nobles. The museum collection also includes paintings and books related to the Genpei Battle.

* Students of the universities that participate in the Takamatsu Campus Members Program that present their student identification card are exempt from admission fees.
