Takamatsu Art Museum

The museum conveniently located adjacent to the main shopping district is an artistic building with a modern style and a quaint atmosphere.  The museum collection includes roughly 1,700 works following three themes: post-war contemporary Japanese art, art of the world in the 20th century and beyond, and decorative art of Kagawa (craftwork).

Fees Permanent Collection Exhibition: General Admission 200 yen (160 yen), University Students 150 yen (120 yen), 65 Years Old & over and High School Students & Younger Free (Free by Presenting Student ID and Age Confirmation)

* Special exhibition fees are set for each exhibition.
* Free for those with a physical disability certificate, rehabilitation certificate, or mental disability certificate by presentation of their certificates
・ Free admission for all on the first Saturday of August for the Museum Day
・ Show your admission ticket to Tamamo Park, Kagawa Museum, or Ritsurin Garden for a 20% discount (valid within 2 days of your visit).
・ Annual Passport: 3,000 yen (1,500 yen for those over 65) for one year from the date of purchase to unlimited admission to the exhibitions organized by the Takamatsu Art Museum and the Shionoe Art Museum.
