Minami Coffee
Founded in 1975. The owner, Mr. Minami, jumped into the world of coffee because he drank a cup of coffee at Kurashiki Coffee-kan that was so impressive that he cried. Kurashiki Coffee-kan was opened by an apprentice of Mr. Hiroyasu Eritate, a legend in the world of coffee.
Beans are 100% of a cup of coffee, and roasting is 100%. The brewing method is also 100%. It is said that all of them are essential for a delicious coffee.
The sign that roasting is complete is the moment when the beans "smile."
The temperature of the water used to brew coffee changes according to where the beans were produced.
"I want to ensure the people who drink my coffee are satisfied."
Taste this motivation that is behind each cup of coffee.

Shiro-no Me
The Japan Pavilion was designed by Kunio Maekawa for the 1964 New York World's Fair. It featured a carved stone relief reminiscent of the Imperial Palace. The relief was made by Okada Sekizai Ishibori Kenkyujo in Ajicho, Takamatsu, Kagawa. Shiro-no Me was built as a prototype of the Japan Pavilion. In 1962 it opened as a coffee shop.
Shiro-no Me was designed by Tadashi Yamamoto, an architect from Kagawa. Its interior was designed by Mitsuaki Sora.
The furniture is from Sakura Seisakusho, and the music that is emitted from the Aji stone speakers was selected by Kuniharu Akiyama from Jikken Kono. These are the kinds of eminent people who were behind the creation of this coffee shop.
"Isamu Noguchi would often visit us," says Mr. Baba, the shopkeeper who has been working there since it opened.
Its atmosphere has remained unchanged since that time.
